A dreamy wedding at Wentworth Woodhouse… A true fairytale

When Zofia asked me to be her wedding photographer, I felt completely honoured and touched. We have been friends for years and Zofia and Hugh chose me to capture their big day, right at the beginning of my journey.

Zofia and Hugh got married at the breathtaking Wentworth Woodhouse in Wentworth, South Yorkshire. The venue was incredible and the weather was glorious with blue skies.

I absolutely love photographing all of the natural moments as well as the dreamy details too… I photographed Zofia getting ready at Wentworth Woodhouse where the atmosphere was lovely and calm. Zofia’s makeup was applied by Kirsty Groves who kept her makeup beautifully natural. Her hair was put up beautifully by the very talented Harriet Harvey. Zofia’s stunning dress was from The Little Pearl Boutique in North Yorkshire and was just literally jaw droppingly gorgeous! Her very pretty and delicate bouquet smelt divine!! It was the perfect choice of pastel colours and arranged to perfection by the lovely Catherine from Sweetpea and Thyme who I can’t recommend highly enough!! Zofia looked so elegant and just beautiful before walking down the ailse.

Photographing Hugh and Zofia say their vows to each other was so touching and is always one of my most favourite parts of the day!

The room looked incredible, filled with flowers by the lovely and insanely talented Catherine from Sweetpea and Thyme. The beautifully hand painted stationary and table plan was made by Amy Bailey Design who again I can’t recommend highly enough. The attention to detail was second to none, not forgetting the welcome board hand painted by Lucy Bullen.

Dine did an amazing job with all of the catering and event management for the whole day, they were a pleasure to work with. After the meal and speeches we headed off into the gardens for some awesome portraits of Zofia and Hugh. I always like to go out twice, a few before or after the meal and then some when the light has dropped to create those romantic, dreamy photos. We headed off to catch the sunset before cutting the scrumptious cake by The Classic and Contempoary Cake Co.

Zofia and Hugh, thank you for letting me capture your day. It was a true fairytale and you both looked stunning.

And they lived happily ever after…
